Jessica prepares for blind role in ‘The Eye’

Blind movie roleBlind movie roleBesides a little time spent at a luxury hotel over New Year’s in Miami with her boyfriend, Jessica has been focused on rehearsing for her movie role as a blind violinist in her upcoming film “The Eye”.

She plays a blind woman, Allison, who receives an eye transplant that allows her to see into the supernatural world. The actress will be earning a bank deposit of $4 million for playing the sightless violinist in this remake of the Hong Kong film “Jian Gui”. Contactmusic.com quoted her as saying: “I’ve been training. I wear a sleep mask and carry a cane to get around with. I’ve also been practicing the violin - it’s hard! It took me three months to figure it out!”

It is nice to see that she is working so hard for her paycheck. Hopefully her learning of the violin and life as a blind person translate into a great performance for the actress. Meanwhile, filming of the movie is currently underway in Albuquerque, NM.
